Air Flow

In the dry section, water passes through a finned tube heat exchanger before mixing with water in the wet section. The remaining dry air flow passes across the finned tube heat exchanger before mixing with wet air flowing through the wet section. This air leaves the tower through a section of drift eliminators, the result of air mixing is that the outlet air is less saturated and a the formation of a visible plume is avoided.
