The main function of the Turbine Hall is to house all of the components of the Power Train and to shelter them from the weather. Inside, you will find a Steam Turbine, Generator, Gas Turbine, Condenser and all other associated pipework and systems that enable gas and steam to be delivered to the turbines. Carrington has two separate units so there are two separate Turbine Halls. Because they are practically identical, the floor of each Turbine Hall is colour coded; unit one is blue and unit two is red. Have a look inside to find out more!
