Turbine Construction

The concrete is poured into the foundation. This foundation contains 550m3 of concrete that will hold the turbine in place in high winds. The foundation is completed in two pours, one for the main foundation and another for the pedestal. The main foundation pour can take up to 12 hours to complete, typically with 70 trucks of concrete.
