The Pitch Control System

The Pitch Control System uses the wind speed and direction information supplied by the Anemometer via the Controller, to assist the blades in making the most of available wind by rotating one or all of the blades to the best position to catch the wind. It also provides protection to the turbine acting as a brake feathering one blade out of the wind will slow, or shut down the turbine during high or strong winds.
